While I love the guests I wish the did a few improvements.
For the last 15 years I and now my family have visited Cooper's lake twice a year for some large group camping events. They have done a great job of managing the large 10k plus group events keeping everyone safe and providing for their basics needs ( water / Sanitation). They have also managed to keep a relaxed attitude that has allowed events to remain fun. In recent years they have invested in upgrading many aspects of the camp ground. Not to be forgotten. I have had friends catch so very large fish in the lake.
Went here for event. It had laundry facilities, bathrooms and showers. You do have to walk to most places but it wasn't to bad. The laundry has no change machine and the w/d were sometimes out of order. The staff was so sweet and helpful.
I'm sure it's not easy but after 20 years it be nice to see a bit more.
Stayed here during the Jeep Heritage Festival. The staff were so friendly and accommodating! The campground is beautiful and they allow well-behaved dogs. I would recommend to anyone attending an event here.
My beloved home away from home. Always happy to see the front gate and the smiling faces of the Cooper's staff. I have been making the drive up for over thirty years. Every year they have been improving the quality of the campground, paving roads, expanding the store and revamping the children's playground.
