BUYER BEWARE!!! I am extremely disappointed with 422 Sales I bought 2 buses from Earl on March 28,2015. I have purchased 12 buses over the past 5 years and driven them from all over the United States. My first correspondence with 422 sales I was very clear with Earl that if there were any pre-existing conditions they were aware of I needed to know as I was driving 1200 miles to get the bus back. Earl assured me that the buses were driven 300 miles to get to their shop and there were no issues and two mechanics checked the buses out. When we arrived to pick up the buses one of the buses would not start as the battery was dead. Earl could not understand why it was dead as he assured me he had a mechanic start both buses that morning (I now question whether a mechanic ever looked at these buses) I should have taken that as an omen of things to come.
Both buses were showing signs from the second we got it on the highway in Slippery Rock of being somewhat unresponsive to accelerating. We thought it could have been water in the gas or the cold weather as it was 24 degrees out so we kept driving to see if it would work it out normally (as we thought it was strange that both buses would have the exact same symptoms). The condition got dramatically worse for one of the buses in Georgia the bus would decelerate and stall while driving and got to the point that it was unable to continue and we had to leave the bus on the shoulder of I-95. After leaving the one bus and driving 10 miles the other bus decelerated from 65 miles an hour to 30 miles an hour (regardless of my attempts to accelerate) in the middle of heavy I-95 traffic to the point that I called Earl and left a voice mail that I may not make it back to Florida at all. The bus did make it back but still has hesitation issues.

I have tried to contact Earl and his son several times on the trip home and the Monday after and left him several messages he did not take or return any of my calls. Earl had his sales manager Donna respond that the buses were fine when they left 422 Sales and they were not responsible for any repairs. I believe there was NO WAY that these problems would not have been present on the 300 mile trip to 422 sales, they decided not to disclose the information to me the buyer. This by far was the most nerve wracking frustrating of all my trips and unfortunately it's not over I have to figure out flying back to Georgia after it is repaired to get it back to Florida.

Most the vehicles on the retail lot have issues and we were shown everything that they new about. We will be repairing the couple of things it needs for inspection next week. Couldn't be happier with our purchase!
